A national group pushing for health care reform today expanded its advertising campaign to include billboards in three cities, one of them Little Rock.

The Washington-based Health Care for America Now! coalition provided the funding for a billboard that went up today alongside Interstate 30 near Roosevelt Road in Little Rock. The billboard, expected to be up for two weeks, depicts a graveyard of blue crosses under the words, “Health Coverage Denied.”

Identical billboards went up in Raleigh, N.C., and Wilmington, Del., said Alex Howe, an account director with Washington-based public relations firm Fenton Communications.

The coalition also organized a a national day of action that included a rally this afternoon in front of the state Capitol in Little Rock.
