The ad captures the very heart of the healthcare debate. It is the image of reality for people with pre existing conditions, the unemployed, people cut off by insurance once it's decided they cost too much to care for... Or despite the fact they faithfully paid premieums for thirty years, they just had a heart attack... no more insurance. Full price for you until you can no longer afford it and that comes very quickly. If you are working class, charity and government programs will not help you. You find yourself with no medical care and very sick. Getting more sick.

The picture is very appropriate.

How do I know? I was healthy and got sick. Now I have no insurance. Now I'm really sick.

Good job to the advertising team, this gets right to the point. Too many Americans fortunate enough to get insurance through an employer, Americans fortunate enough to be healthy enough for insurance are popping off at the mouth about something they don't even bother to understand.

When the insurance company says no to a person, that person very often ends up dead. And they said Democrats wanted death panels??? INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE DEATH PANELS. And every single American is one illness or car accident or an unemployment line away from being uninsured. No one's healthcare is safe. Fabulous ad!!!
