You say you want a revolution

The folks at Mike Huckabee’s blog, Huck PAC, say they have been having “issues” regarding comments on the blog, so today they posted a list of guidelines, including the following rule for comments about the president:

“When commenting on the Obama Administration, please follow Governor Huckabee’s policy. You may not agree with the President, but he is the President. Please refer to him as such, and please refrain from using language such as treason, traitor, impeachment or violent revolution.

    Howard says:

I think Obama is one of the Greatest Presidents since Kennedy. For once we have a President that is trying to get us out of this mess that the last President ( Bush ) got us into. He is smart, transparent, honest, and sincere. I am 74 yrs. old ex U.S.Marine and White. I for one3 am willing to stay the course.

    Jeff Cook says:

When you look at things and they don’t make any sense I have long postulated that the only reason is that you have not yet discovered what is really going on. When I think of the direction our country seems to be heading I have been perplexed. In keeping with the belief I stated above, I may have finally discovered the answer.

I sense excessive intrusion of the Federal Government into states and individual rights. No one can enjoy the fruits of their labor without being accountable to the federal government in some way. No one can do business without consent of and regulation by the government at some level. They have recently spent the nation into poverty for the next 50 years or more.

How can that be and what can they possibly expect to get out of it? I wonder. With a government by the people and for the people how could such things come to pass? How has the government become the only group deemed competent to administer all aspects of every person’s life in our country? Because Congress knows that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.

When we lose the ability to manage and direct our own affairs, the government will step in and do it, and they are. They are moving us towards becoming a nation of servants. They are acting like the old aristocrats of Europe. Imagine all the connected people in power in our nation since Roosevelt’s “New Deal”. Regardless of minor differences in ideology, all politicians have become connected. All of them. Our primary political parties have become indistinguishable. It is no coincidence these elected officials have crowned themselves as the new aristocracy.

The social agendas currently being pursued are moving us voluntarily toward servitude. They are counting on various crisis to hide the fact these problems are a ruse created to gain control. It will continue until they have taken enough control that there is little The People can do about it. Their goal is to put the government in control of every aspect of our lives except simple things like choosing our own toilet paper. Our Republic and freedoms are at greater risk now than at any other time in our History.

It will probably work for now, but I think not forever. The people that really produce the wealth we all enjoy will refuse to create it when they have no say about how it is used. They will stop producing and everyone’s wealth will end with it. We see that in the current economic collapse. When you hurt the creators of wealth, you destroy the employees that count on it. If not subjugated by some other Nation, we will be consumed by the flames of our own inattention and ignorance to these facts.

America was created on what were new and natural ideas over 200 years ago. It rose from the aristocratic ashes of failed social models in Europe and elsewhere. Hopefully, after this crash, it will rise like a Phoenix. New heroes will arise from the ashes and America’s unique spirit will eventually prevail. Hopefully our grandchildren or theirs will have the resolve to work and reclaim the greatness that individual responsibility, free thinking, and self determination has bestowed upon us and America may become great again.
