We are currently paying $0.23/gallon for milk to be shipped into AR from other surrounding states. This bill would do away with that and only add $0.02/gallon so that much-needed dairy farmers can stay in business. For once, AR needs to get into the forefront and protect the interest of their citizen/farmers. There's only 140 dairies in the state and there won't be 100 if this doesn't pass. With milk at $10/hundred and grain for the cattle at $13. it's a shame the dairy farmers are losing their shirts - they AND the citizens of this state.
