I think that we've become a nation of sheeple who will let anything come to pass. This cigarette tax is presented as being some type of noble venture; in reality, the legislators hope that people keep on puffing themselves to death so that they can pick their pockets. As I put on Robbie Wills blog (deleted by him--so much for free speech, eh?), do they want to kill the golden goose or just keep it limping along enough to fund their pet projects?
