For a brief while, leadership by committee looked to be the order of the day in the Senate today.

President Pro Tem Bob Johnson’s wife Tracie and their three children joined Johnson as he was sworn in by Chief Justice Jim Hannah. Afterward, the kids did not want to leave the podium and finally had to be guided away by their mother before Johnson could deliver his brief acceptance speech.

Beyond his legislative duties, Johnson says he most looks forward to tea parties with his two daughters and four-wheeler rides with his son, adding, “The greatest adventure of my life has barely begun.”
