Bare bones protest
A half-naked lady with orange and black tiger stripes painted on her body sat in a cage at a downtown Little Rock intersection today to protest the impending arrival of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
On a cool, windy afternoon, Christina Dang of Holland, Mich., sat quietly while two fellow members of the animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals handed out fliers urging passersby to boycott circus performances at Alltel Arena in early December
The protesters, who said they follow the circus around the country and stopped in Little Rock a few years ago, were largely ignored by pedestrians.
